2022-2023 Reception Starters

Thank you for choosing Whitleigh Primary for your child. We are very proud of our setting and the journey we are about to begin with you. The time has come for staff to get know the new families joining our school community and for those families to get to know our school.

This page will act as a hub to hold all the information that you need as you prepare for September and your children starting school. Many of you will already have children in our school Nursery and so will be familiar with some of the information about the school but for some of you this will be the beginning of your journey at Whitleigh Primary School. We hope that, whichever the case, you will find our school website page informative and helpful.

We will be providing information videos and packs for parents which will have lots of important information about starting school and what to expect. These will be shared during the final half term and will be available on the school website page.

We will also provide videos and resources to aid your child’s transition into school and support their understanding of the changes which will take place in their lives as they begin their school career.

For the moment, our biggest message to you all is for your child/children to enjoy their final term of Nursery, childcare and time with yourselves.
