Bring a Drawing to Life
What if we tell you that you can move the sun (in a drawing)? That’s exactly what you can do with this extraordinary trick. This excellent exhibition of the sleight of hand is actually quite easy to perform and makes it a great trick to have in the list of simple magic tricks with pen and paper.
Materials Needed
- A paper
- A pen
- A small piece of paper with half a sun drawn on it (half sun)
- Double-sided tape
Instructions
- Draw a hill on a paper with the help of a pen. You will also draw the complete sun in the top, right-hand corner of the paper.
- Add some double-sided tape on the backside of the half sun. This concludes the preparation phase.
- After that, pretend as if you are drawing a sun while you paste the half sun on the paper. Make sure that your other hand is covering the already-drawn complete sun.
- Now, you need to cover the half sun and slide it towards the top, right-hand corner of the paper. This will give the impression that the sun is actually moving.
- Lastly, reveal the complete sun to amaze your audience.
