Year 1 practise handwashing to keep healthy
In PSHE, year 1 have been learning about how to stay clean and healthy.
To show them how easily germs travel from person to person, we put some germs (glitter) on some of their hands and watched the germs spread as they touched each other and objects around the classroom. They could not believe it! They then practised how to wash their hands carefully to the tune of happy birthday.
