Reading for Pleasure:
Children need to continue reading at home daily - reading at least once a day for 10 minutes. This could be reading independently, reading to a sibling or reading as a family before bed. This then needs to be written in your child's reading diary.

Twinkl have made their subscription free for one month. Go to www.twinkl.co.uk/offer and enter the code UKTWINKLEHELPS for a collection of interactive resources.
Classroom secrets have also made interactive learning packs for your child. Log on to: https://classroomsecrets.co.uk/free-home-learning-packs/ and download the correct year group.

We currently have access to a new online learning platform called Numbots. This game is aimed at boosting addition and subtraction skills. Your child should have received their log in details.

Phonics: Ruth Miskin (RWI phonics) is running free video lesson Monday to Friday for phonics. The times are:
9.30am - Set 1 phonics- initial sounds (e.g. s,a,t,p,i,n)
10am - Set 2 phonics - Digraphs (two letters that make one sound- ay in play etc.)
These sessions will then be available on the YouTube channel to watch at any time.
